On-site check-in/check-out for field service teams

Field service visits work best when techs see exactly what to do—and you capture exactly what happened on every on-site visit. These screenshots show a lightweight, end-to-end mobile check-in/check-out flow that keeps instructions, usage, notes, and proof of service tied to each field visit. With Mapsly, the same service record that appears on the route map becomes the source of truth on the phone: one place to view customer context, perform the work, add photos, and write everything back to the CRM without extra apps or manual uploads.

At a glance

Visualizing data: On the map and in the table, highlight visit context—service round, expected duration, property flags, and status—so dispatch and managers spot priorities and exceptions fast.

Teams can filter by type, status, or flags, colorize by priority, and scan list/table views next to the map to see what’s due now, what’s running long, and which properties have notes that require special handling.

Check-in: A prefilled visit card guides the tech with Customer & Service, expected usage (gallons/pounds), expected duration, property flags, stop notes, and an optional property image—everything needed before work starts, right on the mobile app.

Check-in anchors the field service visit: the tech reviews instructions, confirms they’re at the right location, and sees any constraints or safety flags. Photos can be taken up front if needed, and required fields ensure the visit starts with the right context for accurate service tracking.

Check-out: Capture job outcome, actual gallons used, and upload after-service photos with context tags; submit to auto write-back to CRM, and attach photo proof for audits and customer reports.

When the work is done, the result, notes, and media are saved to the same service visit record. Photos are tied to the CRM record for future reference, and the CRM updates immediately so managers and customers get a complete, consistent service history.

Impact at a glance

⏱️ 2–3× faster field visit documentation vs. manual notes and uploads

−30–50% missing/incorrect fields thanks to guided forms and required outcomes

📸 Better proof of work with standardized photos and usage deltas tied to each stop

With one system for route planning, on-site execution, and proof of service, teams move faster, records stay complete, and customers get clear, photo-backed summaries—turning every field visit into trustworthy data and fewer follow-ups.
