About Agrifac

Agrifac is a Netherlands-based manufacturer of agricultural sprayer machines (est. 1986). The company runs Zoho as its CRM and manages ~20,000 accounts worldwide. Its sales organization counts about 30 people, with 90% being registered Mapsly users.

The challenge

In core markets like the Netherlands and Belgium alone, reps juggle 2,000–3,000 customers and prospects. Working from static lists—or exporting CSVs to Google Maps—made it “impossible” to stay on top of who to visit next. It was clear for Sandu Teodor, Sales Support Officer, that the team needed a live, CRM-synced view to plan smarter.

Why Mapsly

Agrifac wanted a live map connected to Zoho CRM that could:

  • Visually differentiate leads, accounts, and dealers on the map;
  • Let reps filter by record owner so each person can see “their” book;
  • Plan days or weeks with route guidance in one place;
  • Show open opportunities to focus effort where conversations are active.

“We use Mapsly to make the sales guys’ lives a bit easier by planning their days or weeks ahead with route guidance and that you have all of that together in one map.” — Sandu Teodor

Implementation & adoption

Agrifac’s rollout was collaborative and hands-on.

After an initial demo and configuration, the team worked directly with the Solution Engineer from Mapsly to tailor the workspace; a follow-up working session “made some nice steps,” giving early users the confidence to get active.

“To find out where everyone is or how many customers do I have in an area—that is something where Mapsly really helps.” — Sandu Teodor

How the team uses it today

Live, color-coded view of the whole book. Reps toggle Leads, Accounts, and Dealers on one map and instantly see what’s what.

Owner filters to focus on their records. With Zoho ownership synced, each rep narrows the map to their portfolio.

Quick context, quicker actions. From any pin, reps open the Zoho record and make edits without switching tools.

Planning that matches the day’s reality. Some sales reps plan ahead; many plan same-day because farmer availability shifts with weather.

Adoption building with hands-on guidance. After workflow tweaks with Mapsly’s team, usage is growing.

We have now very much created a space where some of our sales guys are already very actively working… I feel like it can really become a useful tool for us.»

Less maintenance, more selling: Reps no longer rebuild Google maps or juggle paper lists.

Sales guys don’t have to spend hours making a Google map for themselves.»

How Shared Map Adds Visibility to the Website

Agrifac also uses Mapsly to power the dealer map on its website—showcasing every reseller, overseas location, and service partner so customers can quickly find sales or maintenance support nearby.

Before Mapsly, the team exported reports from Zoho and rebuilt the map in Google Maps about once a month; now the website pulls live CRM records, eliminating manual updates and ensuring visitors always see accurate locations.

What changed from “before”

Before: Reps exported CRM data and rebuilt maps in Google monthly; individuals sometimes created their own Google maps. Route planning happened on paper or with consumer apps.

Now: Data is live and centralized. Reps can click through to CRM records directly from the map, make small updates, and—when needed—plan routes in a few clicks. This removes hours of manual work maintaining separate maps.
